Setting Devices to Mass Storage (MSC)

If you use the iPod or iPhone device profile, RealPlayer Converter automatically adds the converted files to your iTunes library. Use iTunes to play or transfer the files as usual.

Requirements for video:

• Micro SD memory card, inserted into the phone
• Mass Storage (MSC) mode enabled

To enable Mass Storage mode:

1. On your phone, press the Menu key. Click Options.
2. On the Options screen, click Memory.
3. On the Media Card screen, scroll to Mass Storage Mode Support and select On.

2. On the Options screen, click Media Card.
3. On the Memory screen, scroll to Mass Storage Mode Support and select On.

1. On your phone, press the Home key. On the Menu screen, open Settings.
2. On the Settings screen, open Data Cbl.
3. On the Data Cable screen, select Data Cable Mode, then change the setting to Mass storage. Press the Exit key.

2. On your phone, select Mass storage.

This device always uses Mass Storage mode. There is no setting to change.

To prepare your phone for video:

1. Go to the Sprint software download site and download the USB driver.
2. Open the file and follow the instructions.

After you have copied videos to your Instinct s30, you can find them under Fun > TV/Video > My Videos > Sideloaded.

To copy to the myTouch, you need to mount USB storage.

To mount USB storage:

1. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Look for the USB symbol in the notification drawer (top-right). Slide open the notification drawer.
3. Touch USB connected. Choose Mount.
4. When you are done, touch Turn off USB storage.
